Birthday

27 years ago, tomorrow, I became a mother. Nothing can really prepare you for the incredible pain, fear and joy of giving birth for the first time. Nothing can really prepare you for the wonder of this tiny little human being. Where did he come from? From me? From us? It is like nothing you've ever experienced. It is a really, really, strange, weird, wonderful experience.

As for the tiny person in question. He turned out to be a lovely child, a generous youth and a valiant and friendly adult. Happy birthday, Daniel!!
